Tio Pepe, the world’s best-selling Fino, originates from Jerez in southern Spain where it is drunk by the locals with tapas, as they’ve done for over a century. Manuel Maria Gonzalez Angel, founder of González Byass, named ‘Tio Pepe’ after his ‘Uncle Joe’ who created his pale very dry white wine in 1841. GonzálezByass was the first Sherry winery to export the fino style back in 1844 when they sent casks of this local style to the UK. Tio Pepe was the first registered trademark in Spain and this iconic wine is now sold in over 100 markets. Every spring, a limited edition unclarified and unfiltered fino is released to showcase a fresh from the cask experience. Part of the González Byass Singular Estates collection, Finca Moncloa is located in Arcos de la Frontera and revives the forgotten tradition of red wines from the rare Tintilla de Rota grape. This 42-acre estate on clay and limestone soils produces intense reds from unique blends of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Tintilla de Rota, aged in French oak. It also offers a rare sweet red dessert wine inspired by an 1841 royal recipe, delivering truly distinctive flavours for adventurous wine lovers.
Produced in a boutique winery of the same name, Blecua is considered one of Spain’s most iconic red wines. Surrounded by 14 hectares in the heart of Somontano, the beautiful Blecua house dates back to the end of the 19th century when it was used as a retreat for the Benedictine monks at Santa Fe de Conques. Blecua is only produced in the best years from a triple selection of the best vineyards, best bunches and best barrels. It is produced in very limited quantities and each release of Blecua is unique.

Getaria Txakolina, a northern Spanish DO, is known for its unique wines and grape varieties. Most Txakoli is enjoyed locally, prized for fresh acidity and low alcohol—perfect with Basque seafood. The Tueka-Etxaniz family, winemakers since 1649, tend steep vineyards by the sea. The estate remains family-run, with 13 of 16 employees from the family. Ondarrabi Zuri and Ondarrabi Beltza grapes are trained high to improve airflow in this rainy, sea-misted climate. Wines age on lees, retain slight spritz, poured traditionally via the ‘escanciador’.

Dominio Fournier is a distinguished winery in the D.O. Ribera del Duero, located in Berlangas de Roa on a river terrace by the Duero River. Nomad Outland Whisky, one of the most innovative spirits from González Byass, breaks traditional whisky conventions by blending the best of Scotland and Jerez. This premium blended whisky is crafted from 30 varieties of malts and grains from Speyside. Nomad Double Cask is aged for six years in Bourbon barrels in Scotland and then for a further year in Pedro Ximénez casks in Jerez. This double ageing process gives it a truly unique character.
