Three plans and a cocktail

Published on

This week, Beronia has a plan for foodies; Cavas Vilarnau celebrates “World Environment Day” and Finca Constancia brings you a fresh update on the vine’s growing cycle. Last but not least, The London Nº1 brings a summer cocktail to the table.

… THE PLANS

Time to hit the kitchen

The winery is launching #BeroniaChefs, an initiative whereby leading chefs share recipes to stun your guests with. The result is sure to be a series of dishes bursting with flavour and paired with Beronia’s unique D.O. Ca. Rioja and D.O. Rueda wines.

The first #BeroniaChefs moment will be posted on 4th June on the winery’s

Facebook, Instagram and Twitter feeds.

#SustainbleVilarnau

To mark “World Environment Day”, Damiá Deás, Eva Plazas and Sergi Martí -manager, winemaker and head of viticulture respectively at Vilarnau – will be talking together about the importance of implementing environmentally friendly practices from the vineyard right through to the bottle.

The session takes place on 5th June on Vilarnau’s Instagram, Facebook and Twitter feeds.

The vines’ growing cycle doesn’t stand still

The Finca Constancia’s vineyards are currently going through one of the most important stages of the growing cycle: flowering. Finca Constancia’s Technical Director, Rubén Delgado, will be in the vineyard to explain what happens during this time, which is a very delicate stage for the vines and determines the quality and quantity of the year’s harvest.

Find out lots more about flowering on 2nd June on Finca Constancia’s

Instagram, Facebook and Twitter feeds.

… A COCKTAIL

It’s “The London Nº1 Mai Tai” time

The London Nº1 brings you an unforgettable cocktail that reflects its “one &only” style. Called “The London Mai Tai”, it is a creation brimming with elegance, subtlety and sophistication that is ideal for this time of year. The combination of a touch of Englishness – provided by The London No1 – and the flavours of Oriental fruit will leave no-one indifferent. Here’s the recipe:

6 cl. The London Nº1.

3 cl. elderflower liqueur.

1 cl. yuzu juice.

0.5 cl. lime cordial.

2 drops cardamom bitters.

Chill a Martini glass.

Shake all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker.

Pour into the Martini glass.

Garnish with an orchid.
