G.H. Martel & Co is the sixth largest Champagne house, owned and managed by the Rapeneau family – a fourth-generation Champagne business founded by Ernest Rapeneau in 1901. The company owns 200 hectares of vineyards across all Champagne regions, making it one of the largest family-owned producers in the region, with an ageing capacity of 25 million bottles.

 Its state-of-the-art production and storage facility is based in Avize while its historic ‘Les Crayères’ cellars in Reims are recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. G.H. Martel’s operations span Epernay, Reims and the Aube, with offices and cellars located at 1 Rue Bernard Rapeneau in Epernay.
