Make plans with wine at home

Published on

The González Byass team has been busy creating a fresh set of plans for you to enjoy a wine moment at home. New activities to take you into the world of wine and bring a spot of cheer to these challenging times.

On this occasion you will be able to travel from home to Somontano, where Blecua winemaker José Ferrer will show you how the wine is made; learn about local gastronomy, courtesy of Javier Muñoz, head chef at La Caboná restaurant in Jerez, who will be responding to the “Cooking Challenge” set by Silvia Flores of Bodegas Tío Pepe; show your appreciation for the work being done and the efforts being made by innumerable people, expressed in a sentence on a virtual banner at Madrid’s Puerta del Sol de Madrid; taste Vilarnau Brut Nature Reserva at this week’s “Cava Time”, and share, on Beronia’s social media, how you will toast the moment when you meet up with family and friends again.

Visit Somontano from home

Transport yourself for a few moments to the corner of Somontano where a wine is made that displays all the winemaking potential this area has to offer: Blecua.  Winemaker José Ferrer, will be talking about how he makes it, from the three-fold selection process of vines, bunches and barrels, to the eagerly anticipated moment the cork is pulled from a bottle of this classic wine.
