Viticulture activities carried out in Beronia Rueda are developed with respect for the environment, minimizing the environmental impact. This philosophy was also reflected in the design of the winery, prioritizing its integration into the landscape and applying ecodesign principles at each stage of the process to reduce the carbon footprint.

The Secastilla Valley, located in the northeast of Somontano, is a place with a distinctive Mediterranean microclimate, ideal for growing vines, olive trees, and almond trees. The vineyards, situated at 700 metres above sea level and spread across steep slopes, make vineyard work a truly heroic effort; the stony, arid soils only add to the already demanding labour.
The vineyard plots have a unique feature: they all bear female names, as inheritances in the area have traditionally been passed down through the maternal line. This custom helped prevent the loss of the estate from the female branch of the family.
