A tasting under a full moon, a recipe and restaurant experiences

Published on

González Byass has added some new events to its calendar. This time, there is a tasting of Vilarnau Gran Reserva with a full moon in the background, a new recipe from #BeroniaChefs and, courtesy of Tío Pepe, experiences and masterclasses by three of the leading restaurants in the province of Cádiz.

Wine tasting under a full moon

With the Mediterranean sea along the Costa Dorada in the background and under a full moon, winemaker Eva Plazas will be leading a very special tasting of Vilarnau Gran Reserva. In this unique setting, Eva will explain how the lunar calendar influences growing the grapes for making cava and how the wine is made. Pop open a bottle of this Gran Reserva cava and follow what is set to be a magical tasting on Vilarnau’s Instragram, Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Be daring and make the #BeroniaChefs recipe

On 8th July, on its Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts, Beronia will be presenting the third round of #BeroniaChefs, the initiative whereby leading chefs share amazing recipes. The winery will be back at Taberna Cocotte restaurant, where Martín Iturri will give a step-by-step demonstration of how to make a delicious carré of lamb with wild mushrooms and rosemary jus.

What has lockdown taught us?

Tío Pepe chats with Fernando Córdoba of “El Faro” (El Puerto de Santa María); Alejandro Mota of  “Restaurante Antonio” (Zahara de los Atunes), and Israel Ramos of “Mantúa” (Jerez de la Frontera). During the conversation, the three restaurants will share their experiences and what they have learned over the last few months and make a few suggestions about how to cope with the current situation.
