Founded in 1835 by Manuel María González, Tío Pepe stands as the world’s most iconic Fino and a living symbol of Jerez. The name pays tribute to the founder’s uncle, José Ángel de la Peña, who first created the pale, dry style that revolutionized Sherry. Today, almost two centuries later, Tío Pepe continues to represent the essence of tradition and innovation under the fifth generation of the González family.
Produced in Jerez de la Frontera, at the heart of the Sherry Triangle, Tío Pepe’s personality is born from its unique terroir: the bright albariza soils, the Palomino grape, and the influence of the Atlantic winds. Aged under a delicate veil of flor in American oak casks using the traditional Solera system, this wine achieves its distinctive elegance, dryness, and complexity — hallmarks that have made it a global benchmark for Fino Sherry.
Beyond the classic Tío Pepe, the winery celebrates the diversity of Jerez through its exclusive Palmas range — rare cask selections that showcase the depth and evolution of Fino with age. Each bottle embodies craftsmanship, patience, and the artistry of time.
Recognized as Spain’s first registered trademark and enjoyed in over 100 countries, Tío Pepe remains the ambassador of Jerez’s wine culture — an enduring connection between history, sunlight, and the timeless spirit of Andalusia.
Tío Pepe is a crisp, bone-dry Fino crafted from 100% Palomino Fino and aged under flor for an average of 4–5 years. Bright, saline and elegant, it offers almond and green apple aromas with a long, complex finish. Perfect well chilled as an aperitif or paired with tapas, seafood, tomato dishes and salted almonds.
Tío Pepe en Rama is the purest expression of Fino: wild, unfiltered and shaped by the living veil of flor. Intense aromas of yeast, nuts and chalk lead to a fresh, saline and vibrant palate with depth and tension. A limited, authentic release that captures the soul of Jerez and the character of its historic soleras.
A pure, pale-gold Fino showing citrus, floral notes and the sharp precision of flor. Very dry, long and savoury, it reflects the clearest expression of biological aging. Elegant, intense and saline, Una Palma highlights the character of the finest vineyards of Jerez with remarkable finesse and persistence.
A long-aged Fino revealing perfect balance between vineyard, flor and time. Golden, expressive and structured, with deep aromas of dried flowers, acetaldehyde and subtle wood. Powerful, savoury and saline on the palate, Dos Palmas embodies the complexity and depth of an evolved Fino with exceptional harmony.
A Fino pushed to the limit, bordering on Amontillado. Aged for around ten years under flor, it offers intense old-gold colour, notes of nuts, exotic woods and deep saline character. Creamy, powerful and long on the palate, Tres Palmas stands at the edge between biological and oxidative aging.
An extraordinary single-cask Very Old Amontillado. Dark mahogany, concentrated and aromatic, with notes of nuts, spice, antique wood and saline finesse. Profound, elegant and intensely expressive, Cuatro Palmas is a rare, museum-level wine that showcases the nobility and complexity gained through decades of aging.
