The heroic fruit of an ancestral terroir where time stands still.
The best way to understand these wines is to lose yourself for a moment in the Secastilla Valley; to tread its rugged soil and face its slopes accompanied only by the sound of the wind and native birds.
To gaze upon the ancestral vines is to realise that there is only one way to work them: with effort and the utmost respect. There, where time seems to pause, everything follows a different rhythm. In Secastilla everything is unique: the landscape, the altitude, the orientation of the valley, its matriarchal traditions, and its curious geographical features.
Its soils are unique: stony, breezy slopes located more than 700 metres above sea level, where ancient Garnacha vines thrive in a perfect habitat amidst silence. From such a distinctive landscape, which demands manual work and close contact with nature and the earth, is born a singular and different wine.
Secastilla is for those who delight in the journey and the search, for those who do not give up on their reward and find it in the things that demand effort. Working with time itself.
