London No 1 is the original blue gin, crafted by Charles Maxwell, a 7th-generation distiller, and Martin Gill, a tea and spice expert with a passion for flavour. Their unique blend of 12 botanicals, including vibrant Bergamot, creates a rich, complex gin. 

Inspired by London’s historic blue-haze gins, they perfected its captivating pale blue colour using delicate alkaline colouring. Since 2010, Gonzalez Byass has owned the brand, with Charles still lovingly overseeing distillation at Thames Distillers in the ‘Tom Thumb’ still.
