Nestled in Sambuca di Sicilia, about 40 miles southwest of Palermo, Cantine Cellaro lies among the rolling hills that surround Lake Arancio — a landscape where vines have thrived for centuries. Rising up to 600 metres above sea level, these vineyards capture the unique light, breeze, and volcanic richness of Agrigento. The winery celebrates indigenous Sicilian grapes such as Nero d’Avola and Inzolia, carefully cultivated to express the island’s authentic character.
Working in close partnership with local growers, the winemaking team selects only the best vineyard parcels — chosen for their altitude, exposure and vine age — and guides their cultivation to achieve exceptional quality. The winery’s emblem, a small vineyard snail (Luma), symbolises the purity of their natural farming methods — a testament to the clean, balanced ecosystem that defines Cantine Cellaro and the timeless spirit of Sicily.
From the hills of Sambuca di Sicilia, Luma Nero d’Avola reveals ripe red fruit, spice and soft tannins. Smooth, balanced and expressive — a true reflection of Sicily’s warmth and character.
Fresh and aromatic, Luma Grillo expresses Sicily’s coastal breeze with notes of citrus, peach and white flowers. Crisp, balanced and elegant — the pure taste of the island’s sunshine.
Elegant and intense, Micina blends native Sicilian grapes to create a full-bodied wine with ripe fruit, spice and smooth tannins — a bold expression of Sicily’s volcanic soul.
