THE TÍO PEPE FINOS PALMAS COLLECTION TRIUMPHS IN NATIONAL WINE GUIDES

Tío Pepe Cuatro Palmas and Tío Pepe Tres Palmas stand out in the ABC Wine Guide, Gourmets, Peñín, Proensa and Vivir el Vino, among others.

Jerez de la Frontera, December 2025 – The Tío Pepe Finos Palmas Collection has achieved outstanding success in Spain’s most prestigious wine guides, underscoring González Byass’s leadership in biological ageing.

Cuatro Palmas

This Very Old Amontillado has received some of the highest distinctions awarded this year. In the ABC Wine Guide 2026 it achieved 100 points, a score it also earned in the Peñín Guide to the Wines of Spain 2026. In addition, it was recognised with the Magnífico award for Best Generoso in the Vivir el Vino Guide 2026. Its exceptional rating in the SeVi Guide 2025, from La Semana Vitivinícola, also stands out, where it was named Best Generoso of the edition with 99 points.

Tres Palmas

This Fino Amontillado was awarded 100 points in the Proensa Guide 2026, making González Byass the only winery in Jerez to receive the guide’s highest distinction. It also secured 99 points in the 41st edition of the Gourmets Wine Guide.

The Tío Pepe Finos Palmas Collection comprises four wines that represent the pinnacle of meticulous work in the González Byass cellars in Jerez. The number of “Palmas” corresponds to the degree of age and refinement. The selection is led by winemaker and master blender Antonio Flores, together with his daughter Silvia, and—as always—is influenced by the climatic conditions of each vintage.
