Since joining the González Byass family in 2016, Pazos de Lusco has become a standout producer of handcrafted Albariño wines. Located just 2 km from the Portuguese border in Condado de Tea, its warm maritime climate, sandy soils, and traditional Pergola-trained vineyards create rich, expressive wines with great varietal purity.
The estate’s heart is the beautifully restored 16th-century manor, Pazo Piñeiro. Lusco—meaning ‘sunset’ in Galician—delivers vibrant, bright wines full of classic Albariño and Godello character.
This Albariño from Pazo de Lusco comes from vineyards in Condado do Tea and is crafted with manual harvest, temperature-controlled fermentation and aging on lees for added structure. Aromas of fresh fruit, citrus and subtle floral notes stand out. On the palate, it is rounded, lively and elegant, with balanced acidity and a persistent finish.
