A Legacy of Family, Land, and Innovation in the Heart of Abruzzo

Nestled between the majestic Maiella mountain and the sun-drenched Adriatic Sea lies the picturesque Abruzzo region, home to the Spinelli family and their remarkable winery. The company is, at its heart, a family business, deeply rooted in its history and its land. This enduring connection began in 1973 with a clear vision from founder Vincenzo Spinelli: to create honest, quality wines that reflect the soul of this unique landscape.

A decade later, in 1983, a new generation stepped forward to carry on this dream. His sons, Carlo and Adriano, joined the business full-time, bringing with them a shared ambition to significantly expand production while staying true to their father’s commitment to excellence.

Today, Cantine Spinelli stands as a testament to this generational legacy, blending family traditions with modern innovation. The winery has grown to become one of the most prominent producers in Abruzzo, operating a state-of-the-art facility complete with a cutting-edge barrel cellar. This advanced technology serves a single, powerful purpose: to ensure their pursuit of quality remains unwavering, allowing them to craft exceptional, yet affordable wines for everyone to enjoy.

Their vineyards, thriving in the warm Mediterranean climate, are the source of this success. This powerful combination of family values and love for the land has made them one of the most distributed and consumed wine brands throughout all of Italy. Every bottle from Cantine Spinelli tells the story of a family that has found the perfect balance between tradition and progress.
