GONZÁLEZ BYASS UK ANNOUNCES NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR

London, October 2026. González Byass UK has announced the appointment of Suzie Parr as Managing Director, effective 16 November 2026. She succeeds Melissa Draycott, who has decided to step down from the role after 17 years at the company.

Suzie Parr has been part of the González Byass UK team for 18 years, during which time she has played an integral role in the company’s success.  Most recently, she has served as Sales Director, strengthening customer partnerships and driving growth across Tío Pepe, Beronia and the wider González Byass portfolio, as well as its premium global agency brands.

Prior to joining González Byass UK, Suzie built a broad range of experience across the wine trade. She began her career on the shop floor at Majestic Wine, before moving into sales with Moreno Wines and later becoming a wine buyer at Morrisons. This combination of retail, supplier and commercial experience has given her a broad understanding of the wine industry.

Melissa Draycott will remain part-time as a director of the company to support a seamless transition and continue to act as an ambassador for the company’s portfolio in the UK.
