Beronia was founded in 1973 by a group of friends who had a mission to create great wines to complement their culinary creations. Our flagship winery, one of the most sustainable in Europe, is located in La Rioja, one of the most important wine regions in Spain. Our second winery, solely dedicated to the production of verdejo is located in Rueda, the home of this Spanish variety.
Beronia Rioja is located in the Rioja Alta village of Ollauri, where the River Ebro and Cantabrian mountains shape the land. Rooted in the region, the winery pays tribute to Los Berones, a celtic tribe who inhabited the region in 3rd Century BC, the origins of Rioja.

100% Verdejo. Pale yellow with green hints. Intensely aromatic with citrus, white fruit and fennel notes. Fresh, elegant palate with rich texture and a touch of characteristic Verdejo bitterness.
A vibrant Tempranillo showing deep cherry colour and expressive aromas of red fruits, rose petals, spice and a mineral touch. On the palate it is full-bodied, structured and balanced, with ripe fruit notes, subtle cocoa, well-integrated acidity and a long, smooth finish.
A classic Crianza with a bright cherry-red colour and a complex, attractive nose of cherry, spices and subtle balsamic notes. The palate is fresh and balanced, offering prominent red fruit, cocoa nuances and lively, well-integrated tannins. It is a round, harmonious wine with a long, elegant finish.
A deep garnet Reserva with high intensity and clarity. Aromas of plums, cocoa, dried fruits and hints of white pepper create an expressive, intriguing profile. On the palate it is flavourful and balanced, with ripe fruit, silky tannins and a long, pleasant finish that highlights its elegant evolution.
Beronia Gran Reserva embodies the elegance of Rioja’s finest vineyards. Crafted from carefully selected Tempranillo and Graciano, it is aged extensively in French oak to achieve depth, balance, and complexity. Aromas of ripe fruit, cocoa, spice, and tobacco lead to a structured, harmonious palate with refined tannins and a long, expressive finish.
Beronia Graciano is an expressive Rioja crafted from 100% Graciano, offering deep picota cherry colour and intense aromas of black plum, violet and subtle spices. Elegant and vibrant, it shows fresh acidity, fine tannins and notes of chocolate and menthol, wrapped in well-integrated oak. A long, refined finish highlights the variety’s distinctive character.
Beronia T.E.E. showcases 100% Tempranillo with a vibrant crimson hue and an expressive nose of red fruit, licorice and sweet spices, alongside hints of chocolate and mocha. Smooth, fresh and well-balanced, it offers fine tannins, refined oak integration and a long, flavourful finish that highlights the grape’s varietal purity.
Vareia Beronia is a Singular Vineyard Tempranillo from pebble-rich clay-limestone soils, offering low yields and intense character. Deep and complex, it shows aromas of red fruit, licorice and dried spice over subtle cocoa notes. The palate is full-bodied, balanced and persistent, revealing fine structure and the pure expression of Rioja Tempranillo.
Beronia III a.C. is a powerful Tempranillo from old vineyards, offering deep black-cherry colour and intense aromas of red fruit, licorice and rose petal over notes of cedar, vanilla and cocoa. The palate is full-bodied, balanced and long, with refined tannins and a mineral backdrop that enhances its depth, personality and ageing potential.
